I have always had a love for gardening. I guess it's because I grew up in the country and was surrounded by flowers and plants growing in fields and backyards. As a young adult and new mom, I helped my mother with her garden every year in my backyard. As life became busy and she fell ill, the garden stopped. I continued with houseplants, but I moved and the new location is not accommodating to houseplants, or no plants honestly. So, with this scary time we are all experiencing and a few YouTube videos, I decided to try container gardening. They would be outside and in some sort of container, so they might actually survive. I planted cucumber, bush green bean, kale, spinach, romaine lettuce, cilantro, green peppers, and dwarf marigolds. I had to get one flower in there.
If these go well, I will plant more according to what is planted during the season. I'll place a picture below showing the congainers. If you would like to know what I used to start my container garden, leave a message in the comments. If you have any suggestions, please leave those also!
