Potatoes Saved the Day
Today, I was hungry. I ate a lot. I ate my lunch early. I drank plenty of water. I could hardly get home fast enough to get dinner prepared.
Then it hit me. I want potatoes. I wanted them roasted in the oven with minimum seasoning. So, that is just what I did. They were delicious! It was a wet, chilly day, and I needed some comfort food. Here’s what I did:
1. I sliced three small yellow Idaho potatoes into thin wedges into a bowl.
2. I added seasoning salt, garlic powder, and black pepper and mixed
3. I layered them on a pizza pan (Don’t judge!).
4. I put them in a preheated 400-degree oven and baked for 15 minutes. I turned them and baked them for another 15 minutes.
5. I ate them!
After eating them, that constant hunger pain went away, and now, I am longing for my bed. Potatoes saved the day.
